The essentials
- Your ticket covers the three-day seminar, breakfast, lunch and dinner on each event day, the Saturday gala dinner with entertainment, and one complimentary activity at Crieff Hydro.
- Your hotel room is not included. You book and pay for it directly with Crieff Hydro, using the preferential rates agreed by GIN.
- Flights, travel and all other personal expenses are your responsibility.
- All payments are non-refundable. You may transfer your place to someone else, as set out in clause 7.
- Places are limited to 150 and are confirmed only once payment is received in full.
This summary is for convenience. The full terms below are what apply.
1.About these terms
- These terms apply to every booking for Beyond Imagination (the Event). The Event is organised on behalf of the Global Information Network (GIN) (we, us, our). The organiser’s full legal name and registered address are available on request from [email protected].
- You means the person named on the booking who will attend. Where one person books for others, the person booking confirms they have authority to accept these terms for each attendee, and remains responsible for payment.
- By completing a booking you confirm you have read and accept these terms. Please read them before you pay, in particular clauses 4, 6, 9, 10 and 15.
2.The event
- The Event takes place from Friday 4 June to Sunday 6 June 2027 at Crieff Hydro, Ferntower Road, Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland.
- Attendance is limited to 150 people. Places are allocated in the order that full payment is received.
- Attendees must be aged 18 or over on 4 June 2027.
- The Event is a personal development experience. It does not provide financial, legal, medical, psychological or other professional advice, and nothing said during the Event or the follow-on programme should be relied on as such. Any decision you make as a result of attending is your own.
3.What your ticket includes
Your ticket price includes:
- The three-day seminar, being all scheduled sessions, workshops and small-group work across 4, 5 and 6 June 2027.
- Meals, being breakfast, lunch and dinner on each day of the Event, as set out in the published programme. Drinks beyond those served with meals are not included unless we say otherwise.
- The gala dinner on Saturday 5 June 2027, including the entertainment provided that evening.
- One complimentary activity on the Crieff Hydro estate, chosen from the options we make available. Activities are subject to availability, weather, the hotel’s own terms and any age, health or safety requirements of the activity. Choices are allocated on a first-come basis, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are forfeited if not used during the Event.
- The wider journey, being the pre-event preparation programme, your Journey Partner introduction, and the follow-on programme for twelve months after the Event. These are delivered online or by email, and their format and content may develop over time.
4.What your ticket does not include
Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, your ticket does not include:
- accommodation, which you book and pay for separately (see clause 9);
- flights, trains, coaches, taxis, car hire, fuel, parking or any other travel to, from or around the Event;
- travel insurance, passports, visas or any other travel documents;
- any activities, spa treatments or hotel services beyond the single complimentary activity in clause 3.4;
- bar bills, room service, additional drinks and any other personal spending at the hotel;
- any meals outside the Event days.
5.Booking and payment
- Your booking is a contract between you and us, formed when we send written confirmation of your place after receiving full payment.
- Prices are charged in pounds sterling (GBP). Any US dollar figure shown is a guide only. Your bank or card provider may apply exchange rates or fees, which are your responsibility.
- The rate you pay is the rate available on the date we receive your full payment. Each rate closes at 23:59 UK time on its published end date. We may withdraw a rate earlier if all places are sold.
- If a payment fails, is reversed or is charged back, your place is not secured and may be released to someone else.
- Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us of any error in your name or details within 7 days.
6.No refunds
- All payments are non-refundable. If you cancel, cannot attend, arrive late, leave early or do not take part in any element of the Event, no refund or credit is due, whatever the reason.
- Your booking is for a leisure and personal development service on a specific date. Under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the usual 14-day cancellation period does not apply to it.
- We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance that covers cancellation for reasons such as illness, as described in clause 10.
- Nothing in this clause affects your rights under clause 8 if we cancel the Event, or any other right you have by law that cannot be excluded.
7.Transferring your place
- If you cannot attend, you may transfer your place to another person aged 18 or over, at no charge, by emailing us with their full name and contact details no later than 14 days before the Event.
- The new attendee must accept these terms. Any arrangement for payment between you and them is a private matter.
- A transfer of your Event place does not transfer your hotel booking, which you must change or cancel with Crieff Hydro directly.
- We may refuse a transfer on reasonable grounds, including where the proposed attendee has previously been removed from a GIN event.
8.Changes and cancellation by us
- Programme changes. We may change the programme, timings, rooms, meals, entertainment or activities where reasonably necessary. These changes do not entitle you to a refund.
- Speakers. We will make every reasonable effort for Peter Sage and Earlene Vining to deliver the Event as advertised. If either is unable to appear because of illness, emergency or circumstances outside our control, we may arrange a suitable substitute or adjust the programme, and the Event will go ahead.
- Postponement. If we must postpone the Event, your booking transfers automatically to the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may ask for a refund of your ticket price within 30 days of our announcement.
- Cancellation. If we cancel the Event and do not reschedule it, we will refund the ticket price you paid us within 30 days.
- A refund under clause 8.3 or 8.4 is limited to the ticket price paid to us. We are not responsible for accommodation, travel, insurance or any other costs you have incurred, which is why we recommend flexible bookings and suitable insurance.
- Events outside our control. We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, travel disruption, strikes, illness outbreaks, government restrictions, failure of the venue or its services, fire, flood or acts of terrorism.
9.Accommodation
- Accommodation is not included in your ticket. You book and pay for your room directly with Crieff Hydro.
- GIN has agreed preferential room rates for attendees. We will send you the booking details and rate code once your place is confirmed. Preferential rates are subject to availability and to any booking deadline set by the hotel, so we recommend booking early.
- Your room booking is a separate contract between you and Crieff Hydro, on the hotel’s own terms, including its deposit, payment, cancellation and check-in policies. We are not a party to that contract and are not responsible for the hotel’s accommodation or services.
- If you choose to stay elsewhere, you remain responsible for getting to and from the Event each day.
10.Travel and insurance
- You are responsible for arranging and paying for all travel to and from the Event, and for making sure you hold a valid passport and any visa or travel authorisation needed to enter the United Kingdom.
- We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, travel disruption and personal belongings, taken out as soon as you book.
- Missed connections, delays or cancelled flights do not entitle you to a refund or transfer outside the terms of clause 7.
11.Health, access and dietary needs
- Please tell us of any dietary requirement, allergy or access need when you book, and no later than 30 days before the Event. We will pass this to the venue and both of us will make reasonable efforts to accommodate it, but we cannot guarantee that any meal is free from a particular allergen.
- Some sessions and activities may involve reflection on personal matters, light physical movement or time outdoors. You take part at your own discretion and may step out of any exercise at any time.
- If you are drinking alcohol, including at the gala dinner and fireside evenings, please do so responsibly.
12.Conduct
- The Event depends on trust between attendees. You agree to treat other attendees, speakers, our team and venue staff with courtesy and respect, and to keep personal matters shared by others in confidence.
- You agree not to use the Event to sell, recruit or promote products, services or opportunities to other attendees without our prior written consent.
- We may refuse entry to, or remove from the Event, anyone whose behaviour we reasonably consider disruptive, unsafe, abusive or in breach of these terms or the venue’s rules. No refund is due in that case.
- You are responsible for any damage you cause to the venue or its property.
13.Photography and filming
- We may photograph and film parts of the Event. Before the Event we will ask for your written consent to use images in which you can be identified for promoting future GIN events.
- If you do not consent, or later withdraw consent, please tell our photographer on the day or email us. We will not use identifiable images of you in new promotional material once we have been told, although we cannot recall material already printed or published.
- Small-group and personal sessions will not be filmed.
14.Content and intellectual property
- All materials, frameworks and content presented at the Event or through the pre-event and follow-on programmes belong to us, GIN or the relevant speaker. They are provided for your own personal use only.
- You may not record, film, stream or photograph the teaching sessions, or copy, share, publish or sell any Event materials, without our prior written consent.
15.Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
- Subject to clause 15.1, our total liability to you in connection with the Event is limited to the ticket price you paid us.
- Subject to clause 15.1, we are not liable for any loss of income, profit or business opportunity, for any indirect or consequential loss, or for costs you incur with third parties, including accommodation and travel.
- We are not responsible for the loss of, or damage to, personal belongings at the Event or the venue, unless caused by our negligence.
- Crieff Hydro, activity providers and other third-party suppliers are responsible for their own services, facilities and safety.
16.Your personal data
- We use your personal data to manage your booking, deliver the Event and the pre-event and follow-on programmes, introduce your Journey Partner and keep you informed about the Event.
- We share only what is needed with the venue and other suppliers, for example dietary requirements and names for the guest list, and with your Journey Partner and Scotland group as part of the programme.
- We handle your data in line with UK data protection law and our privacy policy.
17.General
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force on the date you book applies to your booking, unless a change is required by law.
- If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
- These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
